The biggest advantage of the Vuzix M4000 is its transparent screen with Waveguide optics.
The M4000 has a resolution of 854 x 480 with a 28-degree FOV (Field of View), which is significantly better than the 640 x 360 resolution and 16.8-degree FOV of the M400. Thanks to the Waveguide optics, the M4000 offers a transparent window, allowing the user to look through the screen without obstructions.
The Vuzix M4000 can record and stream videos in 4K resolution. Photos can be captured up to a resolution of 12.8 MP. Thanks to the high-quality streaming capabilities, the M4000 is particularly suitable for remote assist applications where a professional needs to watch live.
The Vuzix M4000 is developed for the business market and designed with heavy industrial applications in mind. With the IP67 rating, the glasses are water and dustproof, and can withstand falls up to a height of 1 meter.
