Ordering from the United Kingdom - How does it work with Unbound XR?
Our customers from the United Kingdom can continue to order from Unbound even after Brexit, but there are some significant changes, which we outline below:
Taxes
For orders up to a value of GBP 135, a 20% import VAT is added to the order. This applies to all orders shipped to the UK from January 1, 2021, and intended for consumers. It also applies to orders received in 2020 but delivered in 2021.
For orders over GBP 135, the buyer must pay the import VAT in the UK. In most cases, this means that the British customer is responsible for paying the import duties and clearance charges.
Additional charges
To ship to the UK, it is necessary to fill out and include additional forms with each order. A fee of €17.50 per order is charged for these extra tasks. These costs are already included in the shipping costs.
Delivery times
Due to the additional procedures, both by Unbound XR and at the border by customs, 1-2 extra working days should be added to our standard delivery time for our shipments to the UK.
