How does it work?

SlimeVR FBT utilizes high-quality IMU sensors (inertial measurement units) and a Wi-Fi connection with your PC, so there's no need for cables, cameras, or base stations. With just five trackers—on each thigh, ankle, and chest—precise tracking is possible. The software calculates joint angles and body positions based on your body specifications and the location of your VR headset. This makes SlimeVR comparable to Vive trackers, but wireless.
